The History of Daffodil Growing in Guernsey

Tony Falla and Malcolm Cleal had a conversation together discussing Tony’s experiences working for a farmer growing daffodils from the 1950s to the 1970s. There were up to 40 varieties grown in Guernsey, but the main ones were Grand Soleil D’Or, Grand Primo, Princeps, Golden Spur and Sir Watkin.
