Harold Peto and the Gardens of Iford Manor, Wiltshire

Troy Scott Smith, who was head gardener at Sissinghurst and is still involved with projects there, will give an illustrated lecture.  Harold Peto was a distinguished architect of the late Victorian and Edwardian period, a landscape architect and garden designer in both Britain and the South of France.  Iford Manor with its Grade 1 listed garden was his home.  Troy has moved there and is involved in restoration work in the magnificent gardens which reopen to the public in April 2020.
