Our strawberry grapes are just ripening now in our glasshouse. They taste sweet and delicious, but I particularly enjoy the perfume when I am standing underneath the vine. We have taken cuttings and there will be little plants for sale next year. #guernsey #plantheritageguernsey #strawberrygrapes
These are three different varieties of Limonium sinuatum, commonly known as wavyleaf sea lavender. Its papery flowers can be used in dried arrangements and these are growing in a front garden at the back of the Odeon Cinema car park. #guernsey #plantheritageguernsey #limoniumsinuatum
Solanum crispum, the Chilean potato tree, has scented blooms, which appear from summer to autumn. These are followed by yellowish-white fruits. This one is in Hubert's lane, which is off Doyle Road. All parts of the tree are poisonous. #guernsey #plantheritageguernsey #solanumcrispum

This is Teucrium hiranicum ‘Purple Tails', which is gently self seeding around our garden and copes well with the dry and sunny conditions. #guernsey #plantheritageguernsey #teucriumhircanicum
