The extensive and very pretty flowers on L'Ancresse common and the northern end of Herm are Rosa pimpinellifolia, the burnet rose. They are rather prickly so keep your shoes on. #guernsey #plantheritageguernsey #burnetrose

We often have Geranium pyrenaicum 'Bill Wallis' at our plant sales. It seeds well around our garden, but it works equally well when planted en masse.
