Clematis sale, Monday, 1st June

We are selling ten different Raymond Evison clematis, five of each variety on Monday, 1st June between 9:00am and 5:00pm. We also have two period clematis from the Plant Heritage Guernsey collection. There are photos on our Facebook page and brief details here including the eventual height of the plant and the flower colour.

Please contact Mary on 07781 459129. Please have your address, telephone contact and email details to hand at the time of order.

Plants can be collected on Tuesday and Wednesday from the PHG glasshouse towards the back of Guernsey Gardens, La Ramee, St Peter Port GY1 2TW

Clematis – £15 each, limited to a total of two per person
Diana’s Delight
Lovely blue flowers, named after Lady Rowland.
120-150cm
Ice Blue
Large, white or blue-white flowers
200-250cm
Kingfisher
Mauve to deep blue flowers with creamy yellow anthers.
200-250cm
Parisienne
Large, single, mauve flowers with purple-red anthers.
150-200cm
Compact clematis – £15 each, limited to a total of two per person
Acropolis
Small to medium, pink flowers with a narrow red-purple bar. Creamy-white stamens.
100- 150cm
Edda
Medium sized, single or semi-double, lavender-purple flowers with a darker reddish-purple central bar.
90-120cm
Elodi
This unusual mound-forming, very compact clematis was short-listed for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year competition in 2019. It has rich green, carpeting foliage, and showy, pink flowers, which appear from midsummer.
50cm
Kitty
Near-white flowers with a slightly green bar, darker towards the base.
100cm or less
Volunteer
Lavender-pink flowers with a narrow red-purple bar. Particularly suitable for container growing.
100-150cm
Yuan
Flowers which open rose-pink with a deep pink bar, maturing to pale pink with red-purple bar.
100cm or less

Large violet-blue flowers with green-flushed central bars and pale yellow anthers.

Very large, semi-double, pale lavender-blue flowers with pinkish-brown stamens.
